Q) WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE POLY-RICH BLENDS?
A) Polyester-rich garments are sublimation-friendly – without being 100% polyester. The 65% polyester/35% cotton blend tee creates decorations with a more vintage look and the unique Poly-rich blend provides an incredibly soft hand and great drapability.

A) Fine Jersey prints so easily – perfect for direct to garment, screen print, heat transfer and discharge printing. Tultex guarantees that all of our cotton products are never over-dyed, making them dischargeable. Fine Jersey is a perfect fabrication for someone using open-ended cotton, who wants a broad color selection and wants to upgrade – better affordable quality. Truly a value-priced tee shirt.
Q) WHAT IS A TRI BLEND? AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE TRI BLENDS?
A) A tri blend is a material made using three different fibers. Tultex tri-blends are 50% polyester/25% ring-spun cotton/25% rayon. It’s the softest fabrication in the Tultex line. It has beautiful drape, great recovery and fit and is the best value Tri blend on the market.
Q) WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TULTEX FLEECE?
A) The 80% cotton/20% polyester blend allows you to discharge print easily. The cotton-rich blend also allows for easy direct to garment printing. Our 80/20 fleece is a perfect weight for embroidery or appliques, has superior softness and a smooth surface for printing.

Q) WHERE CAN I GET A TULTEX CATALOG?
A) Tultex offers marketing materials such as brochures, swatch cards, hang tags and other great tools that can be sent to you or easily downloaded from our marketing tools page.
Q) DOES TULTEX PROVIDE SCREEN PRINTING?
A) Tultex does not do any sort of embellishments or screen printing. Tultex is only a provider of blank t-shirts for decorators, screen printers and distributors.
Q) WHAT DOES RING-SPUN COTTON MEAN?
A) Ring-spun cotton is made by spinning together long cotton fibers in uniform strands, creating a stronger, softer, higher quality yarn than traditional open-ended cotton. Tultex uses only U.S. grown ring-spun cotton in its cotton products.
Q) WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF A BLEND IS POLY-RICH?
A) Poly-rich refers to fabric that contains more polyester than cotton. This not only means the garment will have a super soft hand, but also that it is a great product for sublimation printing.
Q) ARE TULTEX PRODUCTS DISCHARGEABLE?
A) The Tultex Fine Jersey cotton and fleece styles are all great for dischargeable printing because our fabric is never over-dyed; 105, 202, 213, 214, 216, 235, 245, 246, 290, 320, 331, and 340. Please note that variations in the fabric content may produce different results, as polyester and cotton react differently to chemical processes. Other factors like fabric color, mechanical equipment, procedures, environmental conditions, temperature settings and chemicals used may affect results as well. We advise that you sample the process, document the procedures and follow the guidelines of the chemical manufacturers at all times.
Q) WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TEAR AWAY LABEL AND TEAR ANYWHERE LABEL?
A) Most manufacturers make tearaway labels that can be torn only at the top. Ours can be torn anywhere (not just at the top).
Q) ARE TULTEX TEE SHIRTS MADE IN NORTH AMERICA?
A) Yes, North American made tee shirts, manufactured in one factory from spinning through finished garments. Quality, basic, margin-building tee shirts you can feel good about purchasing.
Q) CAN TULTEX BE SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY?
A) No, unfortunately at this time Tultex can only be shipped in continental US only.
